My Dyna has been up on mine several times....no complaints so far. Just jacked it up yesterday to put on lowering blocks.

Now you know why opinion polls vary so much, it's all depends on the intelligence of the people being asked the question. Yeah Chunker I said it, you have to admit you statement has no credence.
BBStacker, I believe you need to go back and read the posts, slowly this time. I am the OP. I raised the question about stability. I questioned someone who looked at it and decided it wasn't good enough. Perhaps your criticism was directed at someone else. Go back and read the posts.
I want opinions based on actual use and I have some good comments. The only negative ones so far are ones who wouldn't like it anyway, and apparently have never owned or used it.

Often times here on the forums you get advise from actual users of a product and advise from people who IMAGINE how a product will work.

It's up to you to determine who might have a better idea how that product performs .

I paid $59 + tax for mine with coupon . I think there $69 + tax now with coupon .
Thanks, I'll look through by books and ads. The one I have scares me.

I have the yellow HF jack and I think it's very stable. Mine appears to be well constructed and very functional. One thing tho - when you lower your bike you have to follow the instructions and NOT try to finesse the bike down by feathering the foot lever. Seems counterintuitive, but stomp the lever and it'll lower the bike slow and smooth.

That is correct. I opened up the box, and my years of working on machinery, told me the contents of the box was a piece if ****. If you want to put your crazy expensive bike on it, do it. But don't be embarrassed to post of pics when one of the cheap metal bars collapses or the lift mechanism fails and you have to get all your friends over to lift it off the jack.

I have one and have used it on full dress Ultras, no problem whatsoever, had it about 4 years now. It has a ratcheting lock mechanism that will protect you if the hydraulics fail. I love the thing, it's served me quite well. You should always strap the bike down though, you're asking for trouble if you don't.

I know lol, that scared the **** out of me the first time I used it, light pressure and it drops like a rock, you have to depress it fully to go slow.

Like any other tool that takes a a bit sense to use , you have some you'll have no problems you don't no amount of money or expensive gadgets will help you . The jack itself is fine for what it is , use the common sense you'll do ok .

I have had one for 4 years and have never had a problem. I put both my ElectraGlide and Softail on it, not at the same time, of course! Pay attention to what you are doing, don't expect it to do things it is not designed for, and it will do what it is supposed to do.

Can't speak of this one but I picked up a Kobalt one from Lowes this past summer. It works great and very stable. It cost me a hundred bucks and I am happy with it.
