Do you need to supply your own steel toe footwear if that's the case or do they have something you can attach to your existing boots?
They supply steel toe attachments for your boots if yours don't have steel toes (which mine didn't).

The difference between the free tour and the steel toe is that the steel toe goes up and down each line so you see everything. The regular tour goes around the outside.

A few years back I approached the Joliet HOG Club, then the H-D reps at the Fall Colorama in Tomahawk, WI about coordinating bike runs with visiting the ailing steam train sites around the US of A. You know, "big iron" patronizes other "big iron" but nothing seems to have come of it. Anyone know of any organized interstate runs like that? Of course, we can do our own, but a big efforts might help these cool excursions.

I've done the York tour twice (free), but the tour was partially restricted/shortened during a June visit because we were told new model year bikes and engines were visible and they didn't want the public to see them. I'd call or check the site first to make sure it will be a full tour.

Thinking of a road trip there over the 4th of July next summer. Will have to keep that in mind to check their schedule.

I really want to do the York Steel Toe tour. Their parts delivery system is what I did at a Ford plant and it would be awesome to see theirs in action and compare notes.
