Okay guys, no need to get hostile. I was just asking a question. I wont mention it again. Just let me say this, at least it's made in America, it has never broken down on me and no, it is not a hard tail. I'm going to be 67 years old and find the bike very comfortable. I belong to this forum because I love Harleys and riding. I would never bash a another persons bike just because it isn't my taste.

Those days are pretty much long gone.
Even OCC wasn't re-newed this year, lolol..if that tells you anything?

Nothin' wrong with ridin' em' though.
They're just not so comfy.
Each to his own though.

Well if my 6* over VTX qualifies All work done by me.

Before,

After,

It was a fun bike, handled well even with the 240mm tire. Just needed something more practical.

cheers

by the way, I dig chopper bikes!! they are some of the best looking bikes I've ever seen. some are unrideable , but many ride pretty well. had a few none now, but I don't think they will ever go out of style, just won't see them as much as baggers have become the darling of the motorcycle world at the moment, but everybody still likes to look at a chop!!

What constitutes a "chopper" varies as widely as the term "Hot Rod" car. For me a chop is a garage creation not a production line build. Neither right or wrong just my position on it.

I do miss my old chopper and wish I could afford another. It was a money pit though. Built from a 76 sportster with hardtail. It rode nice. I had no problems with the pounding but stuff would break off of it from being a rigid. The glide is pretty maintenance free and the wife fits on the back. No picture on this evil computer. If I find one I will post.
