Lightyear, I take it yours was made specifically for the 12's. I have a BAL 3ST on my 2012 Lo and it came with an adapter that went in between the light and the plug in. I take it yours was modded in the light itself?

Correct. Same end result, no false error messages on the digital display.
Unrelated, USMC EOD and Engineers did an impressive job blasting a clear path through the minefields across the Saudi-Iraq border. I was with the 2nd Marines, LAVs, Desert Storm 1991.
I have had mine over a year and do not have any buzzing.
And neither do I...I contacted BAL and they got back to me instantly even after hours via email.
Long story short, I tried to replicate the sound and couldn't with the bike at a standstill...I realized the buzzing/whining sound was the sound of the pads contacting my front brake rotor while braking.
Appreciate your instructions on the BAL light. I just purchased a 2014 Heritage and that I'll purchase next month. I did check out the lights and they are bright. I also inquired at a HD dealer and it quoted me two hours to install the light---gouging the customer. Any chance that you have of photos of how it's connected? Thanks again.
