The panhead was my first bike but I like the shovelhead too.

Back in the day, the Pan/Shovel combination seemed to be the thing...

I like the look of the Knuck's too, but over-all I think that a well maintained evo would give you less problem(s) than the aforementioned,(pretty much bullet proof) and was the motor that saved the moco, but that's just my opinion. Most of them are still on the road too. The models before the evo were way too finicky and were way too high of maintenance, but that's just my opinion.

Yep. S&S makes versions of the knucklehead, pan and shovel using today's technology in manufacturing. Motors come in different displacements depending on what you're looking for and willing to spend.
