Made my reservations for my first trip to sturgis yesterday.. goin with some friends who have made many trips. Gonna spend one day in main sturgis and spend the rest riding and checking out all the cool scenery.. I've never been that far north... think im gonna take a ride down to sturgis kentucky couple weeks before.. any suggestions on either one??

If you're going with friends that have been there many times, I'm sure they've got it figured out. You will have a blast.

Sturgis , Ky is now called Western Kentucky Bike Fest. Wasn't as big last year as it has been in years past.

Where at in Missouri? Docs will have a seminar sometime in early July. I found it full of good info the 1st trip. We will be at Hog Heaven again this year. Have fun up there.

Sounds like fun. The closest I'll get there is watching the Sturgis specials on the Travel Channel.

My group stays in Deadwood. It's such a cool town to hang out in when it's time to rest the sled. We only spend about a day and a half actually in Sturgis checking everything out. We spend the rest riding. There are many places to see but I'm sure your friends have their favorites.

I'm making my first trip to Sturgis this year too. We're staying at the Buffalo Chip. I figured if I'm going to go I want the full experience.
