looking for a CB which i can operate while riding. so i would guess that the speaker and microphone would be attached to the helmet and the controls be on the handlebars near the grips.
checked out J&P and i like the model, just don't like the price tag. add the cost to needing an antenna and then some helmet thing and you are $500 plus.
i do have a hand held portable one bought from radio shack that i wish i could figure out how to make it work
am getting it for the haul road to prudhoe bay. renting bikes. so this is not a permanent thing. i like don't care if i have to duct tape it to the bike.

any more ideas?
Why not ask the place your renting from what others have done?
I have this system and it works really well. I can take it off in a few minutes. Works off 12V or 9 AAA batteries. Includes everything you need and priced right. http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail....E-COBRA-IMCKIT
