You have a few options: You can go with the HD locks, part # 46287-04. They look like quality pieces, but some people on other forums complained about them.

You could also go with the brukus combi-lock setup. I have to say though, that's the one product they make that I personally can't endorse. Here's why: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...addlebags.html

Granted, many have installed this kit with no problem, but with the issues I ran into, I just can't say I'd ever buy it again.

Strap an empty pistol holster to your saddlbag guard in lieu of a locking mechanism.

We have sold many of our Combi-locks with no problems. We have a video to walk you through the installation and will be glad to even talk you through it. 99% of those who have purchased have had no issues. And we guarantee everything we produce - so if you are not satisfied you get your money back.

Plus, even though the Combi-lock is currently out of stock until the 2nd week of February, we are offering free shipping until the end of January. So if you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks, you will not only save with the HDForums discount (link in my signature) but you will also save on free shipping.

We try real hard to make every customer happy - including refunding their money. And we only ask that you give us a chance first. Thanks!

I use the Harley locks, installation was easy and have not had any problems with them. However, I seldom lock my bags anymore except when overnight at a motel.

I do not carry vehicle registration papers with me or in any of my vehicles. I keep my motorcycle insurance card in my wallet.
