I am a little late posting this but still wanted to let eveyone know what a great experience i had this past saturday at my Local dealership in Riverside, Ca ( you can figure it out) Went in about 11 o'clock in the morning to get my front tire looked at, it had cracks along the side wall and I just purchased it from the same dealership at last service. Originally they wanted to replace it and charge me for labor so I spoke with the service manager who in turn spoke with the parts manager who approved replacing the tire at no cost to me, this made my day already. While I was waiting on the repairs a guy from service came up to me and said that my rear brakes need replacing that they were at 5%, this is where i figured they would get the cost of the free tire back out of me, he said $110 bucks and yea I know I can do it for less but said what the hell go for it.
About 10 minutes later the parts manager came out and said the brake pads were on the parts department and he was sorry for the headaches and the bad tire I received previously. Total cost for new brakes and a new tire to me was $55 bucks, now thats a business that will keep mine. They went out of their way to make me happy and were only out a few bucks to make many more hundreds from me in the future. Sorry for the long post but had to get it all in.
Oh yea all this only took 2 hours and they detailed my bike, not just the hose and blow, they used wax and did a decent job.
There is a reason I got my bike from the same dealership you're talking about that is an hour away from me rather than buying it from the one that is litterally 5 minutes from my house.
Good to hear. Every once in a while you find a business that acts like a business should. Unfortunately, it's much rarer these days. Hope that dealer lasts a long time and prospers.
