woke up way too early thinking about your two wheeler. Lay there, tossing and turning, can't get back to sleep thinking about riding, an upcoming trip, or something you're doing or want to do to your bike...or maybe a project your working on and trying to work out some little snag you've run into? Must be some sort of bug I've got, its been happening to me a lot lately. How about you?
I think it happens more ,AFTER I return from a weekend getaway ride,,,
I wake up wishing I was still out there,,
no place like being away from home!! lol
I know I did when I finally got to rent one. It was rather nice to experience my first ever ride on a Harley as the driver.
After the first morning, my wife told me to just get up and go ride the thing instead of squirming around in the bed waiting for her to wake up. "At least you can go riding earlier and I can keep sleeping." God bless her!
Actually, if I am having trouble sleeping, I relive in my mind, one of my favorite rides of last summer, or think about the upcoming ride to the Smokies. I haven't finished a trip yet.
Sounds pretty normal to me.When the mind isn't thinking about a good looking lady,it is usually a motorcycle issue. They both give me the same response.Yikes!
I was jsut telling scootergrrl about this last night in fact. I used to get up at 6am everyday. Now some medication I take makes so I can actually sleep past 6 if I choose. On the weekends it was straight on the bike and off on a ride everyday unless it was raining. It was like that for many years. Nowadays, it is the same, but the rides start a little later in the day. I miss hopping on the scoot at 6 am. It is fun, and seeing all the other riders who are already out as well...
