Only experienced Riders! !

Keep an eye out on the left front wheel of parallel parked cars along a street. If you see the wheel start to turn they're getting ready to pull out, probably in front of you. Always remember that a whole lot of cage drivers don't see you and ride accordingly.
Watch out for stuff not tied down securely in the back of pickups or on trailers. Stuff has a habit of flying out right in front of you.

Like most everything else, I'm sure the data has changed these days but I think it would be something that's worth thinking about.
Also, I would recommend that you wear as much protective gear (especially a helmet) as you can tolerate. Even in a slow speed crash/spill, a helmet, leather gloves, leather boots, and a leather jacket.
Try to ride/practice at a time when the traffic isn't heavy and most importantly, keep the speed down until you've got a little more experience.
Even then, the posted speed signs are not (as I tell my wife) NOT suggestions, it's the law, and one thing that has not changed is the fact that speed kills.
I wish you many miles and years of safe riding.
