i dont nesccisarily go for loud, i go for performance, unfortunatly the side effect of a good performance exhaust is an increase in volume. yes my "cage" has performance exhaust my last "cage" was an army surplus truck with a big ol diesel in it yes it was LOUD and i liked it
My current truck & my wife's vehicle are both bone stock & I intent to keep them that way.
If I spend money for extra or unnecessary stuff for my truck, that's less money to spend on my bike & other necessary stuff like home remodeling & repairs.
I've always been into vehicles in general, but I guess at this point in my life I'm less concerned about spending money on mods on a truck....I'll use that $ for the bike.
My Road King is the first vehicle I've had that I've done any sort of modification to. My last car was a new Toyota that would have had no business being anything other than quiet and dull. Before that - I had a Mini (an original one) that had enough problems without me titting about with it. After that, my 1966 Land Rover needed so much work that a new exhaust was a long way down the list.
The F150 is nice and quiet, and perfect for hunting. I don't use the Road King,or the Softail,or the Sportster for hunting. Yeah, they rip *** in the sound department.
