So you heated your garage quickly or what? If it's cold and stays cold there won't be any condensation. It happens when it goes from cold to warm quickly. I'm not good a physics but that's my observation on condensation. I always stored my bike in the cold and don't really think it took any damage because of it. But I guess if you do it for years then some wear will show.
was in my buds garage the other day, his Ultra was soakin wet with condensation , I mentioned it to my brother he stores his in a enclosed trialer and complanes of the same thing. Mine stays in the garage when not on the road and I have never found any condensation on my bike, My garage is wood frame with vinyl siding and a automatic aluminum garage door. I know we have a lot of humidity here , don't have a clue why mine is not affected....[sm=confused06.gif]
I get condensationon my bike in my trailer, but only when we get very cold nights and warms up during the day,I bought the trailer to use as a riding season shed,it's got the flow through vents front and rear,no mice,no rain and is a very secure place to park my bike when not in use(hooked up to my central alarm system in the house) winter time when the condensation gets bad I store it at the dealers for the winter, next winter it will be stored in my heated basement.
condensation will occur when the temperature of the bike is lower than the temperature of the air in the garage. I keep mine dry by laying a wool army blanket over the bike and two 25 watt drop-lights under the bike. That keeps the bikd slightly warmer than the air and I haven't and any condensation problems even when I park two cars in there that have giang fender-bergs falling off them.
