I rode for a couple of hours yesterday. In and around NJ/NY. It was 30 degrees. Had to cut it short when I got caught in snow flurries but other than that, it was a beautiful day here too.

Sounds like a great ride to me, and you don't have to put on a lot of miles for that. Cruising along with pretty scenery at 45 to 55 is great. But just as Traildog says,"Bite me". Not going to make 50 in Kansas today.
