THOSE OF YOU WHO KNOW THOSE ROADS KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. THE ROADS ARE SMOOTH AS A CARPET AND A WEEK DAY NO TRAFFIC TO BOOT! ONE OF THE BEST RIDES IN CALIFORNIA. I love Texas. I'm in central Texas, about 120 miles NNW of Austin. We had the wind (50 mph gusts) but no snow. The panhandle got hammered. Hope you came out of it unscathed.
