I live on the west side, and have had a decent day or two to ride for the last 5 weeks. Last Saturday was beautiful. Rode into the early evening without freezing my butt off.
When most hear someone say they're from Washington they assume you're from the Seattle area and automatically ask if we ever get to ride when it's always raining.
Fact is that everything east of the Cascades has a great riding season. We've been riding in the Spokane area all winter too - not every day, but there's been at least a couple of warmer riding days every month.
Rubber side down, my man.

True, there's parts of the east side that have 300+ days of sunshine a year. Not near as humid as the west side, either.
I've rode some around yer neck of the woods, used to meet a coupla friends in Spokane and we'd ride thru the panhandle of Idaho to the Silver Dollar Bar in Montana.
I am with Rickr01, we are just not getting rid of winter at all. More snow coming and that means more salt and sand on top of the mess on the roads now. Makes me kind of want to hibernate until its all over.
Got my new FLHTK 2 weeks ago, ridning from North Bend to Bellevue I already have over 500 miles on it, actually closer to 600.
Oh, last Saturday was beautiful and racked up about 150 of those miles!

In the past we've done our share of hibernating in the winter here, but the past few winters have been moderate.
Hope yer shitty weather is over soon, m'friend.

In anything but the worst weather, a man tends to get out more often on a brand new bike, lol.
Glad to hear yer able to get out and enjoy it..

Another nice little jaunt is jumping off I-90 at Kingston ID and going over Thompson Pass to Thompson Falls MT. Makes a great loop if you return on 200 through Sandpoint ID on your way back to Spokane.
There's another leg that'll extend the ride a bit: go north on Hwy 56 up the Bull River to Hwy 2. Take Hwy 2 west to Troy MT and be sure to stop at the Home Bar in Troy. Do not leave Troy without visiting the Home Bar (you'll understand when you get there).
We do this run once every year. Except for the short stint on I-90, it's an all day ride on 2-lane highways that adds up to around 300 miles (if you go to Troy).
