Looking to purchase a couple of helmets for the wife and I, just wondering what type the average rider wears. Not looking to spend a fortune but want something dependable..Thanks
The sky is the limit. I don't wear one around town. When I am on a long run, Sturgis or Daytona, I wear a full face Shoei. My wife hates a full face and wears a cheap half helmet. We had to go through 3 before she found one that didn't buffet her head. She wound up with a nolan. I traded my softail for a bagger. I will have to see how the FF works on the Streetglide.
We have matching HJC CL-33 and we love them. In fact, I just got a "dark smoke" visor, since almost all of my riding is during the day. Just like sun glasses! They were about $70 or a little less.

I'm partial to the Bell offering's once they hit the sale rack of course.
Currently own a Star, a Vortex and a Custom 500 all in one of the Roland Sands paint schemes. Will probably add the Bell Skratch Revover EVO next and would own all 4 for less then full retail on the Star alone by being a patient and aggressive shopper.
