Take her to a store, have her try on as many helmets as it takes to find one SHE WILL WEAR.

If they won't wear it, it is worthless. Doesn't matter what folks recommend. Doesn't mater what is fashionable. What matters is what she is comfortable in and will wear.

Hell, maybe you'll get lucky, she may like a cheap one.

I wear a HJC CL15. Comfortable, light, pretty quiet. Inexpensive, crappy paint job. Want protection of FF.

I bought my wife a $500 Shoei at a BMW dealer, in Milwaukee. They fit her way tighter than my old helmet, which I learned was too big.

I just bought a Bell 500 for hot days, but haven't wore it riding yet.

He hit a curb (city riding!!!!!).

I usually wear a FF for this reason:

But last summer was very hot. So I found myself riding without a helmet at times. It felt great, and I could see why so many do it. I never understood that before. But being married to an ER nurse, and the father of a Paramedic, I hear many horror stories. So I bought a 3/4 helmet for hot days. Lot better than nothing.

My Wife prefers a full face helm. She use a scorpion. I have owned many helmets over the years and I prefer KBC and AGV for full face.

I wear a Outlaw 1/2 helm myself.

If you're looking for a helmet for your wife look for someone that specializes in womens motorcycle helmets. My favorite is Motorcycle Mavens. They offer a great line up of helmets that are specifically for women. From design, fashion, function and price! (there may be others out there, I just personally like these gals)
