That's Funny, My kids girlfriend called a couple days ago and ask how come after putting in 6 quarts in her car that she still could not see the oil level in the hole where she added the oil. asking when to stop putting more in.
I remember yrs ago we had a new Apprentice that filled up the radiator on a Fork Truck with gas one time. Another time we have one that filled up a FT with Diesel fuel..
Seen my oil temps over 250 deg. too many times down here in Texas to not spend the extra coin for synthetic protection, reguardless of how long a person wants to go between changes. Conventional oil don't do well with those extremes, so the experts say.
Then why do they make conventional oil for motorcycles then? 100 degrees in Texas is just as hot as 100 degrees in New Jersey. When you oil has a flashpoint of 425 degrees whether its synthetic or conventional, it's gonna do its job. Has been for years. There's no brand of synthetic oil that will put in writing and guarantee your motor will last longer or run better. And if your like 90% of riders today, you'll ride your bike 2500 miles a year or less and trade it in after 5 years, so you won't see any benefit from using an oil that costs more then conventional oil.,,,
