Old new Voltage regulator
My 2012 ultra had the VR changed out shortly after I bought it. Seems to be working fine just putting out 15.5 volts most of the time. Does not seem to change except after first starting when it runs 16.ov then drops to 15.5.May not be a problem just asking ?

Am I correct in assuming that your original VR was part of the HD recall? They checked the VR on my 2012 Heritage and the date stamp on mine was not part of the recall.
To answer your question, it sounds like the VR is working properly. As long as you are not experiencing any problems, there is nothing to worry about.
