In May me and two friends are heading from Dallas to ride the dragon, among all the other beautiful roads. We will be staying in Maggie Valley. So here is my Question. From Maggie Valley if we ride the Blue ridge Pkwy and kinda make a big circle its hard to tell if there is any place to get gas and food. For those who have done this any suggestions would be nice. I did a search and found one thread that had some good suggestions. Thats how i found Maggie Valley Inn.
I know we wont be able to see it all but want to try as best as i can. Thanks in advance... Mike
When I rode through there it seemed to be a user friendly place. Plenty of places for food and fuel, keeping in mind it is in the mountains common sense should see you through.
Be sure to go to the Wheels Trough Time Museum there in Maggie Valley. It's a one of a kind museum where the past is preserved not restored. The Dragon is not the only road to ride up there, there are many other rides just as fun.
