I ordered an ACC helmet Tuesday afternoon, and it was sitting on my front porch when I got home from work yesterday. I live in FL, but the girl I talked to wasn't sure if it was in stock, and said it might take a couple weeks. So I was pleasantly surprised when it was here in 2 days. When I first tried it on, with the padding that was already in it, it didn't fit quite right, it was a little tight in front and back. A few cuts with the scissors to the padding, some adjustment to the straps on the sides, and it fit perfectly.
The problem I'd had with previous helmets (all cheap ones) was that they'd start to blow back on my head above 50 mph. So, I put the new one on, headed out, and took her up to 70. The helmet stayed right where I strapped it. And because of the way the padding is in the inside of the helmet, it actually let some air flow in and above my head. Not good in cold weather, but for here in FL that will be great come summer.
All in all, very happy with the helmet. I haven't worn one in almost 2 years because they annoyed me to the point of distraction, but I'm sure I will be able to live easily with the ACC. Nice folks to deal with, too. Two thumbs up!
I have 2 of there helmets here.I don't like how they fit.My wife ordered me one for Christmas and a few days later I recieved another one! She got them through a Canadian supplier...they were ***** to deal with! Were did you have to cut out the foam to make it fit right..i want to try that.If it works I will keep one and sell the other...cheap! Thanks

What size, style and color is the one you want to sell cheap?
I cut about a 3" section of the foam out right in front of my forehead, and also at the back of my head. I guess I have a long narrow head. (Pinhead?) The helmet wouldn't go quite all the way down to the top of my head before that. Now there's no foam right in the front or in the back, but it doesn't seem to matter at all, it feels pretty good and fits just right.
