I am on my 3rd Harley but this one I want to keep for a while. I just got a 2010 Road Glide Custom and can't make up my mind on the right pipe and want to ask on experience minded people. I am not really concerned that a 2:1 may make more power or torque as much as I am the good quality and deep sounding tone.
I have a screaming eagle 2:1 slip on now I hate it..although it doesn't sound bad I just think a bagger should have dual pipes (personal opinion only)
I thought I wanted a D&D 2:1 with a ghost pipe but the extra money for that I don't think is a fair price when in a few miles it will be obvious and also most people know it anyway.
So Rhinehart True duals now this is the fun part...
Classic Duals or Extreme Duals..
does the classic dual get pretty hot on the passenger since it looks like it would be right by her foot?
then 3 1/2 or 4"
what about the Jackpot pipe?
Does RC make a good true dual or what (I like this sound the best)
You might want to check out MGS as well. I've heard nothing but good things about there true duels, been to their shop also and they are some cool dudes.
I am taking bike to dealer today to get 255 cams put in and DYNO tuned with a Vance & Hines head pipe (true dual) not X pipe..and Rhinehart 4" pipes...can't wait..
