Damn, Its calling my name. Nothing like both of us being the same age. My camera (lLeica M3) was also built the same year.

it's resting in a later model electric start swing arm frame. I would prefer the early model kick start swing arm frame. It would "appear" more period correct. And the flat rectangular boss cast into the neck on the right side is where the original serial numbers where stamped for the original bike. I would guess the numbers have been ground off. A no-no here in NY!

Clean but is a builders parts bike nothing original but MAYBE the motor , no real value other than the name panhead .

Pre 1970 frames didn't have numbers or the neck boss .
