When we got hit from the side by estimated 80-100 MPH winds a couple years ago heading into sturgis SD, a couple of the guys that managed to get thier bikes stopped before they got blew off the interstate with the rest of us had to lay them down anyway because they couldn't hold them up.

I just moved back to So. Cal and forgot all about all the stuff that earthquakes will know down. And it really doesn't take much. Thanks for the reminder.
I once had a disgruntle girlfriend who decided to kick my bike over while I was parked at a party and inside the house. Luckily no damage, but I was pissed to say the least.

So .. park small side to the wind, kick stand away from the gust, behind something blocking ... watch the solid wheels catching wind... if it's going down get it there as safely as possible....
