I'm sitting waiting for a light to change. 4 lanes, two left turn lanes and two straight-ahead lanes. I'm in the first straight-ahead lane. The arrows turn green on the two left turn lanes, but not in the two straight-ahead lanes. BAM!!!!! The idiot woman behind me runs right into the back of me. I am so glad she was close to me and so couldn't get up much speed before she hit me. :"Oh, I saw the other lanes go green, so I just went". Grrrrrr!!!!! The rear fender of my scoot is driven into the tire, the rear brake light is history, and who knows what else she did. Why, why, why, are people so STUPID??????? I am grateful I was not hurt, and proud that I didn't drop the bike after she hit me. There is no defense against something like this. I was flying this morning, and thinking in 15 years of flying I have never dinged a plane or hurt anything but my pride in a bad landing-but the bike is f*****g DANGEROUS. Not that I'll stop riding, but you know it will be a while before my bike is ready to ride while the insurance companies f*ck with me.
Glad your ok!! Its an accident waiting to happen when ya dont pay attention.. The bike can be fixed and your already ok (other than the brown spot in your shorts).. take care !!!
glad your ok, and not to highjack your thread, but i was once pulling a trailer that was pretty low, a 4x8 atv trailer, this girl in a big 4x4 pickup drove up behind me and right over my trailer, the thing went under the truck, i was pissed, then i guess she thought she was slipping (icy) she hit the gas and actually pushed my whole blazer with my trailer, she did that 2 times before i jumped out and said something like " miss, you are pushing my truck" heh,or something similar
