Default Idle question

Little confused..again, and no response down in the electrical section so I'll try up here.

After rebuilding my 2012 103 Wide Glide with cable throttle, it's seems the idle is to low and it kills after the motor warms up, up till then it's fine.

I have the Power Commander 5 and Auto Tune installed and about 60 miles on it so far.

How do I raise the idle?
Or with the Auto Tune fix it eventually?

Email to Moto, but nothing yet
TIA

Al...what a long strange trip it's been.

I found another thread asking the same question that was answered by Fuel Moto and it says you cannot adjust the idle speed through power commander.

Another search showed that the dealer or sert software can adjust idle speed.

You need a dealer to adjust the idle??

That sucks.

Master tune? Maybe for that, but the PV5 and auto tune seems to be working just fine.

I asked the dealership about my bike's idle and why it didn't "potato, potato, potato". He said new bikes don't like that anymore. I remember my '75 idling at 750rpm and this one is from 990-1050 and it's never smooth sounding.

It's easy enough to clean the IAC with some throttle body or carb cleaner. Cycle the ignition a few times to move that little motor around to make sure you get it all.

I'll give it a shot, thanks.

Possible it picked up some crud, and I think if it won't open(?) the idle speed is effected.?

Also maybe possible the electrical plug for it might be not seated completely, little area to work and big hands.

If you see the motor moving when you turn on the ignition, the plug probably has a good connection. You can sometimes get quite a bit of crap that comes out of that thing, so before you spray anything stuff a clean rag behind it to catch whatever you flush out.
When the IAC gets dirty enough it will prevent the motor from moving in and out, which will affect the idle speed.
Worst case, even if the IAC is shot they are only around $40.
