I use pieces of free carpeting I get from local carpet houses that are throwing it away. Most are the perfect size for my bike and a couple others. should they get too dirty or something is spilled by accident on the carpet I just throw it back in the dumpster. It's very cost effective and I like that it keeps down the condensation in cold weather if I have a heater on. It's a garage, no cars, it gets dirty on occasion, who cares. JMHO.

Unfortunately my floor is rather pitted in many areas (thanks to all the salt), so carpet has some appeal to me, at least under the bike so when I work on it/check fluids, there's something clean and softer to kneel on.

Because of the floor being pitted, epoxy will not work, and rubber tiles seem rather expensive.
