Neat idea. I can see a limited use for it. I know a few guys with artificial legs who would still ride if the didn't have to shift. Arthitis and such can make clutching difficult for some folks.
I was readin an article this week about a new clutch design. I forget what it's called. But you don't need to feather the clutch at low speeds, or even use the clutch for shifting. Dirt bike riders love it. Now available for BT's. Cool idea. But I thought $1600 was a bit much for a clutch.
If that's the same one I just read about in a mag a couple weeks ago, it takes away around 30% HP of the motor and 20% fuel mileage. Oh........ the price........ some like 12-15k installed on your bike! [sm=yikesomg.gif]
