How often are you going to use the trailer? I rented a U-haul 5x9 for about a hundred bucks to move my bike from Columbus Ohio to DC. If you are only trailering a couple of times per year, I'd just rent a trailer.
I believe U-haul only allows motorcycle trailers (and I believe all trailers) for one-way trips only. I have been trying to rent them for years now for my annual family trips but they wont budge. And if you do the one-way to your destination, you can only HOPE you will be given one when you're ready on your return trip. No promises.
But this Stringer one looks AWESOME!!! A little out of my budget though.
