Does anyone have an opinon on the Kendon trailers? The model for one bike and it stands up for storage in the garage.I was thinking about getting one to haul my 03 electra glide.
Yeah. They run around 2 grand at my local HD place, but cheaper than a 10 foot cargo trailer plus I wouldn't have to pay a storage yard. I'm just concerned about how it handles the weight of my bike and how it tows.
I've got a Stinger Trailer, www.stingertrailer.com, that I picked up used. It folds up nicely for storage and it also canbe stored away easily in an SUV. I trailered my Road King with it and found it follows nicely, barely know its there. For added protection, I picked up a Gatorhide cover, www.gatorhide.com, for those long treks. Don't trailer often, so its nice to have something that stores so easily.
As an open trailer, it is great. I have used one at highway speed and it handles fine. I ended up buying an enclosed trailer for the protection from the elements, and for more secure storage in a motel parking lot, etc, when travelling.

Have been thinking of ordering a Gatorhide cover. From the pics, it definitely surrounds the bike. Is the cover relatively convenient toput on and/or remove? Or is it pretty involved due to its design and degree of coverage?
How often are you going to use the trailer? I rented a U-haul 5x9 for about a hundred bucks to move my bike from Columbus Ohio to DC. If you are only trailering a couple of times per year, I'd just rent a trailer.
The first time I put on the Gatorhide cover took some time as I was figuring it out and trying to do it right, but the second time was a piece of cake, had it on in minutes. You will love the protection if affords.
