So the MOCO just decided out of the goodness of its heart to change those recommended service intervals, which BTW also should correspondingly reduce the sales of filters, fork oil, seals, etc.(?) Seems a bit out of character...<g>

maybe they found that they were paying more to fix dealer screw ups than what they were getting back by having those serviced at that interval? who knows? all i know is my 2010 says to change the fuel filter every 25000 miles. while on the wife's 2012, it says to replace the filter and housing every 100,000 miles. but if you look up the parts, they are the same exact parts.
so i figure if it's good enough for the 2012, its good enough for my 2010. not gonna mess with the fuel filter until 100k unless i get some kind of issue that points to the fuel filter
