If I was going to get lucky with one of the girls, then yes I would use a bikini wash. But since I would never get lucky with one of the girls, then never, never would I use one myself. Bet this is the same answer for most of the people who have responded, they just dont want to be straight forward.
I won't even go through a drive-thru wash with my truck. All those hanging rags and spinning buffers accumulate dirt, pebbles, or chips from previous vehicles. If you inspect your paint closely, you will see micro-scratches and swirl marks after the vehicle dries, especially if you have any black paint. Those hand-washes are even worse. When I get asked if I want a wash from those school functions I just give them a donation. They drop the rags on the pavement, step on them, etc. This picks up any stray grit or pebbles and it gets rubbed into your paint.
You guys are too funny. I can not understand people with pretty bikes, you all sound like a bunch of girls.
I wax my vehicles monthly--wash them weekly or bi-weekly. In the winter, sometimes twice a week to keep the salt off. I have a 2004 Tacoma that looks brand new-- interior and exterior. I even spray it with the 'new car' air cleaner Just say no to bikin washes. It is fun though to watch the girls as they scratch up the paint on someone elses vehicle
