I have the V&H Big Shots Staggered with the "quiet" baffles. I love the looks, but they are too loud for my old ears when cruising for long periods. I wish there was a switch to make them sound stock when cruising.

Had the same problem with baffled Bigshot staggers, really tough to take on a long haul, but fun around town. I get the right combo of volume and tone from my 2-1s on the RG along with plenty of hustle. My wifes EGC is really easy on the ears with almost stock sounding SEs attached to tru-duals. You'd think that being old and hard of hearing loud pipes wouldn't be a problem on a long ride, but it just hasn't worked out that way.

I feel like taking out the baffles may be a bit much. I drive a really loud truck already, and I don't know if I want to push the envelope any more than I already do. My wife remarks that she always knows when I'm home when I pull up; said she wouldn't expect any less when I'm on a motorcycle.

V&H Straight Shots. Nice sound in my opinion, just ordered some "quiet baffles" to see what the diff is. Might be going back to the stock mufflers though cause I don't really want to have to do the SERT-PC crap.
