I have V&H Straight Shots with the regular baffles in. I put them on just before putting her away for the winter, and they were louder than the SE2s they replaced, but not overly loud. I got to hear her running with the engine mods I had done recently - cams, heads ported/polished, etc... and they're noticably louder now, with a really nice lopey idle and exhaust note! Can't wait to get her out this spring!!!
Just curious to see who are the quiet type and who lets it be known when they are arriving . You can tell who I am from my screen name V & H Longshots w/out baffles
I have several different systems that I have collected for my scoot and the baffleless stock mufflersstay on most of the time. I love V&H straightshotsw/o baffleson your bike, not on mine.
I have the V+H Straightshots with the baffles in.They are plenty loud.I had the SE 2 slip-ons before and the V+H are louder, but not overly obnoxious.I love em'!
Python staggered duals...I love them....Loud enough to set off car alarms and wake my neighbors up on the weekends (paying them back for doing it to me beforeI had my pipes, although I didn't really mind , its just a little freindly "good morning"that we do in my neighborhood now)

I have the cycle shack slip-ons on my sportster. Slash cut design. Nice chrome on them but, for me, the deciding factor was performance along with price. Not just them being loud.
