I've never seen one of those signs here in NJ, but I've run into roads that were under construction, or had been milled or oiled, WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHATSOEVER and avoided them, in at least one case going a few miles backtracking to get where I needed to go. It's nice to see that they're at least paying "lip service" to motorcyclists, although I'm sure not out of any concern other than to Cover their A$$eZ...
Shore. If you go up through highway 36 in highlands, Atlantic and Middletown they've been putting the up with all the new road paving.
The thing I am seeing a lot in NJ as of late are on/off ramps with 3" deep linear potholes in the middle of the ramps that are 50-60 feet long like a minefield of sorts. If you crossed through one of those sweeping through a turn on the ramp, you are not going to have a good outcome. You can see them during the day, but would suck to come upon at night.
They are bike-eaters and don't seem to be getting fixed at all. They tend to be attached to 287/87 ramps more than others for some reason.
