Is there a section for history in regard to Harley Davidson making changes and when they did it? I need to know what years the EVO was used in the Big Twins and were they all 5 speed transmissions ?
Thanks
My sister has had a PC for 5-7 years and she doesn't/can't search or Google stuff, so like her, the OP asked rather than look on their own. It happens.
notice the big blank space at the end...that is for the water-cooled touring bike due out in the next couple of years. that is when history will be made and all the wing and bmw boys come on over. the only cloud on the horizon is the new indian.

I have asked things on here myself I should have/could have searched for. Sometimes I just get a brain fart. Besides, if it were not for this forum I wouldn't know anything.
Take a look at this timeline. I believe the EVO came out in '84 and the TC came out in '98.
Your history is a bit misleading when you read that timeline , keyword is " unveils " . Harley announced the evo in 84 but it didn't see the dealers till 1985 .

I've asked a few things but most were in threads that were started by someone else. The majority of what I've learned, was just from reading. But if i could have, I would have what searched what he asked because I like to help when I can.

I rode to Sturgis in 1984,saw a LOT of Evo motors. I also almost bought an '84 FLH ,it was an Evo motor with a 4 speed and a kicker. Rare bike now days though. Don't know where you found your FACTS.
