My old man gave me a couple RE magnets. Heard about the magnet working so I slapped one on my frame. Seems to work i guess lol

Check your local laws. Law in my state says you can run the light if it skips you ( on your bike ).

Not where and when I've tried it. Put kickstand down and wife eventually had to go punch the damn button. So don't be thinking that's the magic cure.

Yeah, I don't think we've had the metal bars in our area for years. Now, if the can make something that will allow the sensors on those things to "see" motorcycles, THAT I would buy. IDK how many times I've ended up just going through a light after 2 or 3 cycles because I couldn't trip the sensor. Sometimes, I'll pull forward and let the car behind me move up to trip it. PITA.

You just have to move your bike back and forth a bit. The detector is triggered by a change of magnetic flux, so if it misses you the first time just give it another chance. That magnet won't work. It's stupid.

Kill your ignition and restart your engine. Works every time for me!

If it doesn't change for me in a few seconds, I run it. Law now says it's ok here in Texas. Note: Wait for big simis etc. to clear the intersection first.

Seriously? Hell, I'd do that in a heartbeat rather than sit through 3 cycles of the light.

Here in Cheesehead land, we can run the lights after 2 cycles (I think, I usually go after about 2-3 minutes).
