Default Streetglide crashbar fits deluxe!

Just thought i'd share this. my buddy was getting rid of his factory crash bar with highway pegs off of his 2012 streetglide. we decided to try and see if we could make it fit my 2013 deluxe. with just a little bit of pulling on the bars to get them to reach back by the floorboards, it bolted right up! Just wanted to let other people know in case something like this came across!

Always nice to know what interchanges when shopping for new or replacement parts.

If I'm not mistaken, the deluxe should have a higher lean limit in other words, check to make sure you didn't change that by adding that crash bar. Certainly don't want to take a turn at high lean and catch the crash guard on the road. My guess would be that a crash bar made for the softail models doesn't stick out as much thus allowing more lean.

ahh good call. i've taken a few decently tight turns and the bar comes around 3-4" off the ground so ithink i should be good to go but i'll deffinitly keep an eye on it! Thanks for the heads up!
