Approximately a year ago, I purchased your exhaust system. True Duals with ceramic head pipes and Big Louie mufflers for a 2011 road glide. This is the worst exhaust I have ever purchased, and I have been riding for over 30 years. The muffler bracket would not bolt to the saddle bag support because the head pipes were to long, and the bracket under the center of the bike has broken and I had to make a new bracket. Also, the clamp for the heat shield on the lower pipe breaks. I have had to replace it 3 times. The exhaust often pops, I am at a point when I hear a rattle I can guarantee its going to be the exhaust I just made a 500 mile trip and another clamp broke. I am leaving next week for a 5,000 mile trip and I guess the exhaust will be dragging behind the bike by the time I get home. This was an expensive purchase for such a poor quality of exhaust. In the future, I will not be purchasing any more Rush products. I will post my opinion on the Roadglide and HD forums, so other riders are aware of the quality before buying.
That's sad to hear, as Rush products are made right here in northern Indiana. I hope your letter generates some true concern by Rush (you did send this letter to their home office, didn't you?) and I hope you don't leave it laying on the road during your trip. Good luck and safe travel.
Yes i sent this same letter to rush now the ball is their court
I am a long time user of Rush products and nothing but good to say about them. They have 100's of positive posts on this forum from members here. They are also a forum sponsor. A new member here "smokes" a company or other member, before receiving a response from them is suspect.

If someone has a bad experience with them then they have a bad experience. What difference does it make that they are a new member?
I've had my Rush muffs on our 07 Heritage since 07, installed them at the 1k and now with 42K I have nothing but praise for them and they still look 99% new.
Never once have I had an issue with them and have recommended them in here for yrs to other.
I did have to re-wrap the baffles after 20K and when I called them to order some material for them they even overnighted it to me for free..
I have always gotten great service and customer relations is top notch.
I know some times things don't work out but I really think they will work with U if U give them a chance.
I had Rush slip ons on my Dyna and never had any issues. They appeared to be a high quality product and the customer service was excellent when I had any questions.

Rush mufflers on my 08 Fat bob are five years old and look and sound really good, no problems at all, chrome is just as good or better than the factory HD stuff on the bike. No problems with the brackets or anything coming loose.

The difference is they "flame" a company across several forums before giving them an opportunity to review and act on a request for help. I can post this again, if you don't understand the 1st two posts.
