When I hear Triumph it brings to mind Indian and Harley.
Classic bikes..
The old saying if I call you a millionaire does it make you one penny richer...
Don't sweat the small chit and its all-small chit.
I like this one.. I read it a Mini Sturgis..
15k and 15 miles don't make you a biker.
a lot of "bikers" today... fit that.. last one
Personally I wish I still had my old Honda.. not because it would replace Booger..but it was just fun to ride.
To me having more then one bike is a great.. to have more then one flavor is what its all about..having something to compare it too instead of a closed minded approach of "best"... based on nothing. All the brand bashing is just bad for bikes.. in general. When someone is rude to me, I have to remember it’s probably not me that pissed him or her off, but some other *** that made some derogatory remark about him or her or his or her ride.
I don’t have to defend what I ride.. or justify it.
If you ever come to LA.. I’ll ride with ya.. and even eat at the same table <grin>. I don’t care If your riding a rice rocket, a HD or Wing.. or KOW, Yami or BMW.. …..what ever else is there.. well maybe a Vespa I might have to think twice about.
One nice thing about getting older for me, is letting go of my old ideas. And having to “have the best” is one of them.
.. well maybe a Vespa I might have to think twice about.
It was warm here yesterday, saw a young lady in a sundress riding a Vespa, skirts flying, big smile on her face, having fun. Bet there are no shortage of boys wanting her at the dinner table.
I want the Rocket III darn it How could any one not
Met a guy here in Mass. who bought the 3rd one sold from the Boston Triumph Dealer. Said I could ride the Rocket if he could ride my Heritage. That Bike Freakin MOVES!!! WHAT A RUSH!!! The Rocket looks as good as it rides.
Thanks for the pics of the Triumph. They sure have changed from the ones that I saw when I was a lot younger. I wouldn't mind having some of the ones that I saw at that time. I liked some of the older models.
After HD, Triumph is my favorite brand! Why, Honda's are more reliable, Duc's command more attention. Yamaha's are reliable as hell. Triumph's, well, they had a fire that ruined their factory, and they came back and built the most sophisticated modern motorcycle plant in the world. The "new" Thurston 900 is the only new bike that has a racing series allowing only their bikes. Plus Triumph started life the same time as HD.
P.S. I ride a HD, Yamaha, Honda and Triumph.

One other thing, I've told you guy's before, but my brother rides a 1996 Triumph Daytona 1200, the fastest production bike ever built that could do a corner, aside from the Busa claims, and it is one of a very few of what is left in the world today. Great bike!!
You know what, he rides it to work! It's not in a glass cage. That's why I love him. he understands that it's about the miles, not the image.
I like my triumph in the garage, so I may just buy another one and have 2 triumphs and a Harley, I told the guys on the triumph board that everybody on here was a-ok with it, they said that true Harley riders would frown on my idea, what do they know, LOL.
