I trust my mirrors 99.9%. But 99.9% of the time I check by looking back before changing lanes, merging. Because failure isn't an option.

Why?

Because my mirrors are larger, set higher and farther out than the sexy little useless things most folks call mirrors...

Always do a quick head check. Even when it's not needed, because it's when you think it's not needed, that something bad happens.

I never look back. That's why I have mirrors. If I'm going to look back, I might as well take them off or have them so I can look at myself.

Redundancy is a good thing, when failure could be catastrophic.

LOL thats awesome....

I dont trust mine for the simple fact that stock Train mirrors on the stock drag bars are brutal, especially on the auto bahn here. You can look once, go to change lanes and there is a BMW or Benz doing 230 kms in that left lane......ALWAYS do a shoulder check on there....

I've had to many cages ride in my blind spot. I always turn my head before I turn my bike.

Check mirror, look back, every time. In traffic at high speeds, quick multiple back and forth to make sure I'm not missing anything. Have fun, ride safe.
