Hit a bump, not a big one, and my teeth almost fell out. I was looking into http://www.jpcycles.com/product/711-975. They fit my 2013 stocktail Slimboy.
But, the individual components do not. The online chat gentleman assured me they would fit because the individual items have not been updated. Can this be true? Looks like a nice deal. Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks.

Before you spend a lot of money, do you have your shocks pre-load set up properly? Generally, the set up for shocks on stock Harley's are set at the softest position, which depending on your weight or whether you ride two up, can cause the shock to "bottom out." Typically, you want about 1" of Sag on your Softail.
Lots of variables with stock shocks granted but if you ride any kind of miles 1 set up isn't going to work for most folks. You may be the exception. See if someone you know has different set ups you might be able to ride a little. Most softys are in the same weight range if they aren't loaded with bags and other add ons. Setting the pre load so light for your weight is going to bust your butt. The slim is not a lightweight and needs some meat under it.
