Grats, looks rather comfortable there JB...just ordered the same type of seat from Mustang for my bike...the wide vintage solo with backrest, can't wait for it to arrive.
Have a blast man, looks like you'll be all right getting there
Thanks Zombie. I did a 1300 miler with the original seat and no backrest or highway pegs. The Mustang Regal Touring seat is unbelievable!! Can't wait for Tombstone.... and then there's Sturgis!
I really like the look of that smoke windshield. Got any frontal views of it?
Thanks!
PS-Tombstone is great. You'll love it. Best of both the wild west worlds for you if you are doing Tombstone and Sturgis!! Gotta love Al Swearengen!!!!!
I didthe Tombstone poker run last year during AZ Bike Week. Kate's is a great time. I have never ridden in that much wind in my life!!! For nearly two hours I had a STRONG cross wind on a fatboy!!! I just have the attitude that when things tend to suck, they make the longest lasting memories.
Tombstone is indeed one of my favorite rides. Do it a few dozen times a year. The ride to the Chiraquara National Forest is a nice ride if you're staying overnight. Bisbee is a great ride as well.Great vistas and open spaces riding. I'll be there there at the end of March for a couple days partying and riding with a group I ride with. We own that town that weekend. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]
4mer-racer, we we're there at the same time last year. It WAS windy. We were coming back from the Chiraquras and man, I was getting blown away. Good time, though.
I live in Tucson and Tombstone is one of my favorite rides. I would love to hook up with a bunch of you while you're there. What is your schedule? PM me if you're interested.
