I keep a couple of crushed cans in the saddlebag.
They work well enough, easy to plop on the ground and toe it under the jiffy. And if I take off and forget it..leaving it behind....no biggie, I'll just step on another can and presto...I'm all set again.
That one of the flattened squirrel is a riot!
LOL! For $100 it must have a bar & shield on it somewhere <g>
We know the KickShoe is not for everyone. We actually took it off the market because it's expensive to produce and thus an expensive item. But we had a lot of guys and Harley dealers asking us to please continue making it - as they would pay anything for it.
This is especially true if you go to a lot of rallies or live / ride / work where it is hot and you have to always be concerned with trying to get whatever under your kickstand when you're parking on hot asphalt.
You'll never have to worry about trying to maneuver something under that kickstand and then retrieve it again.
Us old bikers really appreciate that, especially with bad backs.
I kinda got the idea from Brukus: Get a plastic kickstand coaster, the oval ones, not round ones, drill a hole thru the kick stand and coaster, slightly countersink the bottom of coaster, and nut and bolt it thru the kickstand.
When positioned just right, it'll clear the frame when stand is in up position. Only down side, at least for me, is on sharp left lean, the coaster sometime scraps. But I have my bike lowered, so it might not happen with stock height. And if it does, easy to grind off some plastic on the coaster.

Last summer I was running errands one very hot Saturday afternoon. I went to my bike and noticed a crotch rocket parked near by that was about to fall over because the kick stand was sinking into the asphalt. I found a beer can near by and flattened out and was putting it under the kick stand when the owner came out. He was irate until he realized what I had done. He then insisted on buying my lunch and we had a nice chat.
