I bought a Wilson leather (on sale) a few years back and love it. Very sturdy and toasty warm. A bit heavy though, but I still will probably have it as long as I live. Mine says "open road" on the tag. It has the leather lacing down the sides. I think when I bought it I caught it on sale for around 200 bucks, regularly 400 bucks. That was 6 years ago.
just bought a wilson jacket at their outlet store for 129bucks, regular price 300! nice quality, zip out liner, zippered vents and lace down both sides of back, goood luck
I bought a jacket from these guys for $100. It has held up great (2.5 years and probably 20,000 miles) They have a store on Main St in Daytona and always have big deals. I got my chaps from them for $50 on sale. I recomend buying in person as opposed to the internet because of fitting and shipping costs.
Just IMHO but...
I'm sure there are very good on line sources for jackets (fox creek)but I really don't like buying a jacket I can't try on. Bought one from Dennis Kirk (a good place) and when I got it, it didn't look at all like the pic on the website (they were very good at refunding my money). Nor did it fit as the size would indicate. Anyway... I did buy a classic motorcycle jacket from Wilson's in 1991 and I am still wearing it today. It's like an old friend. No fading and lots of character. Just FYI.
I got the jacket in my Avatar picture there for $99, its not the heaviest jacket around, but I like to layer it over a sweatshirt anyway for the afternoon. It works great, no problems with it at all.
