Yes, if memory serves me. Before you try it and chance damaged threads, call JP Cycles. They got a tech dept that I imagine should be able to tell you about those part #s I gave ya. Thread pitch, length and such. Harley may not carry them but I know that generator would've been used on other machines. We used to run Chevy 6 cylinder ignition points because they were the same part as the Harley only cheaper.

Nice, and your welcome. Gotta keep that old iron alive. I got a new twincam but I still miss my old electraglide. If your runnin points, I believe we always asked for blue streak points for a Chevy 250 inline 6.

You'll screw the pooch if you jam those in there , threads are US standard in the generators . Think they are 5/16" fine thread if I remember correctly .
