It wasn't the only thing you could have done, but it was the RIGHT thing. I just accept that someone is usually going to try and kill me every time I go riding.

sad but too true
I have never had a close call with another bike just tin canners

Glad you made it okay but the quote is priceless!
I hate going to Dallas and won't unless I have to. And you'll never catch me in any city at night. I don't even like doing it in the little town I'm in now.
This is just the same **** we deal with on a daily basis. Regardless, there are 2 sides to every incident on the highway and when someone starts off by saying he went to the dealer to "get raped", I take very little stock in anything said after that. I mean, you make yourself sound like an ******* when you voluntarily subject yourself to a "raping" and then bitch about it on an internet forum. If you don't like their prices, then don't buy their parts. Otherwise, STFU about it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, either pro or con. We are also entitled to air our dirty laundry to the whole world, pro or con. We even have a choice whether to read it or not.

You guys let them off a lot easier than I do. You purposely endanger my life, you're gonna be held accountable.
I'm sometimes the same way unfortunately. Yeah, a car will win every time, but the rage I feel when someone deliberately puts my life at risk, or has a "no big deal" attitude after almost killing me is tough to control in some of these situations. If it's a case where they are being idiots (most are I know) and almost kill me, or would have killed me if I didn't ride so defensively, I yell and flip them off, etc. If I get lucky enough to pull up beside them, I let them know what they just did. Yeah, I should just leave it alone. Afterall, they could run me down in the car or shoot me when I confront them, but hey, maybe they'll start paying more attention and my confrontation may save another rider down the line. Who knows.
