If you have a good local chapter, it can be of value.
some people will bash you and the HOG groups. For wahtever reason they don't like them. take most things on here with a handful of salt.
we in Sioux Falls, SD. have a very active group that does a lot of rides, monthly meetings, and is a good place to meet other riders.
also the local dealer has a rewards points system.
HOG members get double rewards, as well as rewards points for going on weekly rides, HOG meetings, dealer bike nights, helping with demo rides, etc.
then you can redeem those points for gift certificates for use at the dealership.
certain rally's like Sturgis, the 110 birthday bash in Milwaukee, you can get a pin or entry into a concert at a reduced rate or free in some cases.
It really boils down to how YOU use the membership.
