I just wanted to say in public, that Corbin rules. I bought a used seat off ebay.. it was modified by removing the rubber bumpers on the bottom for a 1999 bike.. I called Corbin, told them exactly that.. that I bought the seat USED and I needed the bumpers.. and they just immediately asked for my address and said we will send today free of charge..
NOW THAT IS FREAKIN CUSTOMER SERVICE.. THANK YOU CORBIN.
Have those seat bumpers bronzed and hang them next to your kids baby shoes. You are the 1% that got good customer service from them.
Well... obviously I've never had any dealings with them.. so I'll report back if I get them or not.. she actually used the word "today".. so if they arent here by next thurs or friday I'll be let down and wont even call but come up with an alternative.. I just dont know how tall they need to be exactly to fit right and would need to guess.
I dont even know if I like the damn seat yet... bought it for the backrest.. it was a bit odd riding with it in place but I bet it would really make a hour or more trip tolerable for my back.. and hopefully backside.
Just wait till you get to go to Hollister and tour the factory and meet Mike etc.
Well, maybe they will fly me in FOC.. I actually sent them this thread and recommended management review it. They probably have some "dead wood" management... that is holding them back.. assuming this is an american company making stuff here.. Im all for at least showing their fault.. however.. "pedro" made my seat.. so I question.. and I said QUESTION whether Pedro is paying his taxes... I hope so.. for the price they are asking Id hope US citizens were crafting them.. anyway.. I just want my behind to not get sore.. so Im hoping I get the bumpers so the seat isnt stressed.
I've had nothing but positive experiences with Corbin. Will be riding down in week or two to get some mods done to the seat and expect the same good service.

O love corbin but I have heard from dealers (both harley and ducati) they are hard to deal with. I have bought three seats from them directly and it has been a pleasure. I just received one for my sportbike and even though it looks similar to stock seat, it feels 100% better. Of course on a harley its the ****

Exactly, me too.
I understand there's been some folks with experiences that haven't been so positive, but I sure don't get all the piling-on by the guys who haven't even bought a Corbin seat.
I had to switch to a Lepera this year, to fit my Yaffe tank, but I saved My Corbin, in hopes that I can get it modified to fit.
